When the poachers
reached open space, the drivers hit the
gas. “Arrgg,” yelled one of the poachers, as he stiffened in his seat
and fell
over. Blue sparks jumped from his right leg to the man sitting next to
him, who
howled in pain. The machine gunner turned to see Jack. He started to
fire, when
out of the corner of his eye something big and fast moved. He turned to
see two
flying machines lift over a grove of trees. The poacher swung his gun
around,
but he was too slow. Guns popped out of the bottom of the Aerodynes,
and blue lightning
flashed across the morning savannah sky.
